ALPINOVA (7) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when third over 5f at Bairnsdale. Will find this assignment a little tougher but a bold showing is expected. FILEETA (1) scored when resuming two runs ago but couldn't back it up last time when fifth over 5f at Seymour. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Expected to be in the finish. FRANCINE (2) finished ninth over 5½f at Ararat at her most recent appearance on April 26. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. IN YOUR WORDS (8) went forward and proved too strong last time, scoring with 2.5 lengths to spare over 4½f at Mt Gambier. Tackling tougher opposition but is among the better hopes.
